A Conversation with Lara Lipschitz

Last year Lara Lipschitz caught everyone’s attention starring as Daphna in The Fugard Theatre’s smash-hit production of Bad Jews which is making its way back to Cape Town in December for a limited run. Welcome to Sarafina Magazine: an online publication celebrating South African women in the arts.

I was inspired to start this blog after stumbling upon The Interval, a New York based publication that celebrates women in the theater community. South Africa is known as the rainbow nation. It is a country that is rich in culture and full of stories.
